Come back with us to a simpler time!    Enjoy a wonderful evening of classic country western music and home style fare, in a setting that harkens back to Nashville elegance of the late 1950’s.   Support the Round Top Family Library and Wine and Dine with Patsy Cline on Saturday, September 9th at the historic Round Top Rifle Hall.   The Almost Patsy Cline Band will provide wonderful music and stories as you enjoy a meal complete with all of your childhood home-cooked favorites.  Exciting and unique items will be available for your bidding, with all proceeds benefitting the Library.  Doors open at 5:30 pm at the classic Texas dance hall, located at 710 FM 1457 in Round Top.  Tickets are available online at ilovetoread.org or by contacting the library – info@ilovetoread.org or (979) 249-2700.

Spellman.  Dr. Spellman will inform and entertain us with his presentation about the Texas Rangers.  During the 1880’s with the railroad coming in and the rapid growth of towns lawlessness was the rule - and the Texas Rangers were called in to establish order.

Delicious Fish Fry Dinner at the Rifle Hall!!

There's nothing better than yummy fried fish with all the fixins' on a Friday night.  On Friday,  March 10th, the Round Top Rifle Association will hold an all-you-can-eat fish fry with hushpuppies, coleslaw and french fries.   Food will be served from 5:30pm - 8:00pm and the bar will be open.   Plates are $10 each for eat-in or take-out.  Tickets are on sale at Round Top Mercantile and Round Top State Bank.  Any tickets remaining will be sold at the door.
